متن کاملMuon spin rotation and relaxation in the superconducting ferromagnet UCoGe.
We report zero-field muon-spin rotation and relaxation measurements on the superconducting ferromagnet UCoGe. Weak itinerant ferromagnetic order is detected by a spontaneous muon-spin precession frequency below the Curie temperature TC=3 K. The micro+ precession frequency persists below the bulk superconducting transition temperature Tsc=0.5 K, where it measures a local magnetic field Bloc=0.01...
متن کاملTemperature dependence of the anisotropy of the planar oxygen nuclear spin-lattice relaxation rate in YBa2Cu3Oy
We report measurements of the full planar O nuclear spin-lattice relaxation rate tensor in optimally and underdoped YBa 2Cu 3O y (y56.96 and 6.63). The anisotropy varies strongly with temperature in both samples: for the y56.63 sample, the ratio of the relaxation rate measured with the applied field in the ab plane and oriented parallel to the copper-oxygen bond axis to that measured with the a...
متن کاملMagnetic field dependence of spin-lattice relaxation enhancement using piperidinyl nitroxyl spin-labels.
We examined the magnetic resonance properties of 12 paramagnetic piperidinyl nitroxyls in water and plasma solutions. Paramagnetic contributions to proton relaxation times were measured using 10.7 and 100 MHz spectrometers. Proton relaxation enhancement from nitroxyls increased with ascending molecular weight, in plasma solutions versus equimolar aqueous solutions, and with measurements at 10.7...
